While this head collar is not my first choice of equipment for dog walking, I do find myself suggesting it for clients that are elderly or disabled, or who find themselves in a very vulnerable position when trying to hold back a strong dog with explosive reactivity. It generally takes some time to train your dog to accept wearing one using positive reinforcement, please consult with a trainer to see if this is a good fit for you prior to making a purchase.
Not recommended for small dogs or dogs with flat faces and/or short snouts. Choose Medium for dogs 25-60 lbs and large for dogs 60-130 lbs. Contact us for Extra Large if you have a dog larger than 130 lbs.
