My go-to recommendation for getting started with cooperative care. Training cooperative husbandry behaviors can be very nuanced, but this book will help you lay a solid foundation.

One of the gems in the science of behavior, this book changed my perspective and vastly improved my knowledge. I never tire of reading it. Incredibly engaging, written for anybody who loves anybody.
Culture Clash by Jean Donaldson
Nobody lays it down like Jean Donaldson in The Culture Clash. This book really challenged me to examine aspects of my relationship with dogs that I had never paid attention to before.
